Day 9--National Poetry Month--Rictameter--Mexican Jumping Bean

Today I'm doing a rictameter (not a rick roll) poem. If you want to know how to do this one, go here. And now I present, my poem:

MEXICAN JUMPING BEAN
Larva
Encapsulated
Avoiding too much heat
Your wormy body rocking hard
You jiggle and hop to escape to coolness
Next spring you'll chew a little hole
Cork it with silken threads
Until wings grow
New moth
(Hey. It's still the same insect. Just grown up a bit.)
If you'd like to read more about Mexican jumping beans, go  here or here for a video.
