Tankity Tanka--National Poetry Month

I've done these about twenty five times. Hopefully this time my Tanka poems will stick the way I want them. If you'd like to write your own after looking at my wondrous offerings, go here...;o)

Laundry in the Wind
Clothing on the line
Whips about in frenzied dance
Twisting 'round like live
Just as if inhabited
A Tarantella macabre.

A phalanx of glass
Glittering arrayed colors
Painting the ceiling
 Light through the clerestory
Filling me with joyful peace.
