National Poetry Month--Day SEVEN--Grammar Poem-- Regret, Dish

Today we're doing Grammar poems. If you want to know how to do them, go here. If not, my poems:

 REGRET

Nascent in youth and conqueror of age

Insidiously draining

Slicing like a stiletto in the night, holding sleep hostage

Had only hindsight been foresight.

DISH

Useful and common

Steaming gently

Like a volcano's caldera

If only the soup you held wasn't split pea
